The MS3116F16-8P is a 8-contact Circular Connector with gold-plated copper alloy contacts, straight plug, 16-8 insert arrangement and plug contact type. The solder contact miniature cylindrical connector meets the most critical application needs. Design versatility combined with high reliability performance makes these series of miniature cylindrical connector ideal for environmental sealing or pressurized applications. A corrosion-resistant electrically conductive finish of cadmium plate with an olive drab chromate after-treatment. Shell components for these series are aluminum. The dependable 5-key/keyway polarization with bayonet lock coupling assures positive mating with no chance of cross plugging. Spring tension provided by a wave washer in the coupling nut ensures maintenance of interfacial seal between mating halves.
