High accuracy ambient light digital 16bit resolution sensor in a miniature opaque 2.67mm x 2.45mm package. It includes a high sensitive photodiode, a low noise amplifier, a 16bit A/D converter and supports an easy to use I2C bus communication interface and additional interrupt feature. The ambient light result is as digital value available. Applications include ambient light sensor in automotive for display backlight controls, infotainment systems, rear view mirror dimming, interior lighting control systems and head-up displays.

- Dimensions (L x W x H) is 2.67mm x 2.45mm x 0.6mm

- Ambient light sensor (ALS) integrated module, improved linearity: ±1%
- Supply voltage range VDD from 2.5V to 3.6V
- Communication via I2C interface, separate IR channel
- I2C bus H-level range from 1.7V to 3.6V, detectable maximum illuminance of 200klx
- Floor life of 4 weeks according to J-STD-020, MSL level 2a
- Low shut down current consumption of typ. 0.5μA, selectable integration time of 3.125ms to 400ms
- Operating temperature range from -40 to + 100°C
