CMS1500-NIST

CMS1500-NIST is a true RMS AC/DC solar clamp meter with NIST certificate of traceability. It is specially designed for installation and maintenance in the photovoltaic high voltage field and measures up to 1500V AC/2500V DC. It can also measure AC/DC current up to 1000A without breaking the circuit by clamping around a single conductor. This saves time and the circuit will not be damaged.True RMS provides better accuracy when measuring non-sinusoidal or noisy waveforms. Additional measurements include DC power (2500kVA), resistance, capacitance, frequency, temperature, diode test, and continuity. The3000A clamp adapter input can be used with any adapter that has a 10mV/A output. measurements are read on the 9999 count backlit LCD display. It has an Inrush current function (100mS) that captures the instantaneous surge (inrush) current when power equipment is turned on.
