The MC78M05CDTG is a fixed output, three terminal positive linear voltage regulator in 3 pin TO-252 package. This regulator is intended for local and oncard voltage regulation. Internal current limiting, thermal shutdown circuitry and safe area compensation for internal pass transistor combine to make this device rugged under most operating conditions.
