FTM20-AG42A is a vibronic point level detection Soliphant FTM20, compact limit switch with an extension tube for bulk solids with stainless steel housing (316L). This point-level switch is for applications with fine-grained or coarse-grained, non-fluidized bulk solids. The various designs mean the device has a wide range of applications. It features operational safety, reliability, and universal applicability through the use of the tuning fork-measuring principle. Measurement is unaffected by conductivity, build-up, turbulence, flows, or air bubbles.
- Simple and fast commissioning, no calibration required
- No mechanically moved parts, free of maintenance
- Safe function due to self-monitoring (active frequency monitoring of the fork)
- Easy recurring function test via test magnet, suitable for constricted space due to compact design
- Measurement not affected by build-up or external vibration, not affected by flow noises
- Non-hazardous area approval, thread EN10226 R1-1/2, 316L (process connection)
- 225mm sensor length
- ATEX, FM, CSA, CSA C/US, IEC Ex, NEPSI, INMETRO, EAC certificates / approvals
- 200g/l minimum density of medium, international explosion protection certificates
- Process temperature range from -40°C to 150°C
