The 9-142 is a 9-terminal 30A panel-mount Barrier Terminal Block with interposing barrier between terminals yield higher electrical ratings and provide additional protection against frayed wire shorting. It has black moulded monoblock general purpose phenolic insulator, nickel-plated brass eyelet and a nickel over copper flash NEMA grade XPC marker strip. The block makes it possible to select the combination of mechanical and electrical characteristics that best meet the exact requirements of application. The terminals and fanning strip permits the equipment designer to choose the method of termination most suitable for his environmental specifications and manufacturing requirements.
