Pi-UpTimeUPS is an Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) for a Raspberry Pi. Pi-UpTimeUPS fits snugly on top of a Raspberry Pi making the Raspberry Pi mobile by providing a power source for extended period of time. *Batteries are not included

• Pi-UpTimeUPS provides continuous operations for up to twelve (12) hours using two 18650-3000 mAh fully charged batteries (as measured on a Pi-3 model B board.)
• The run time will vary depending on the model of the Raspberry Pi being used and the peripherals connected to the Raspberry Pi.
• Batteries take approximately 5 hours to charge. The time can be extended by using larger capacity batteries.
• Provides steady power to the Raspberry Pi: Pi-UpTimeUPS protects the Raspberry Pi from brown-outs as well as power failures preventing unwanted downtime.
• Pi-UpTimeUPS accepts power input from an external power source and charges its batteries at the same time it provides clean uninterrupted power to Raspberry Pi.
• The same power source to a Raspberry Pi can be used with the Pi-UpTimeUPS board.
• Auto shutdown: Software provided with Pi-UpTimeUPS monitors the battery charge level and shuts down the Pi when the battery level is low.
• This software is downloaded from www.piuptime.com - instructions on how to set it up can also be downloaded from the same web site.
• Power Reset switch: With Pi-UpTimeUPS, there is no need to plug or unplug the external power source to reset the Pi.
• A Power-Reset switch on Pi-UpTimeUPS resets the Pi after a shutdown. A red LED flashes to signal the Pi reset.
• Raspberry Pi Models supported: Any Raspberry Pi with a 40-pin header is supported.
• For example, Pi 2, Pi 3 etc. Older Raspberry Pi models with a 26-pin header are not supported.
• Input Power: 5V via micro USB connector on board.
• Power Adapter: Not included.
• Maximum Current: 1.7 Amps – system level maximum. Used by 5V and 3.3V power.
• Maximum 3.3V UPS current: 800 mA. 3.3V is generated by Pi-UpTimeUPS.
• 5V UPS Power: Power provided to the Raspberry Pi via the 40-pin header. 5V UPS power can be accessed via the PI-UpTimeUPS-BO board.
• Batteries: Two unprotected 18650 Lithium-ion batteries. Batteries are not include
• Battery capacity: Recommend 2000 mAh to 3200 mAh.
• Safety: Onboard circuitry prevent over charging, deep discharging. Temperature monitor checks
