MAX3083ESD+

The MAX3083ESD+ is a fail-safe, slew rate limited RS485/RS422 transceiver in 14 pin NSOIC package. The fail-safe circuitry in this device features a logic high receiver output when receiver inputs are open or shorted, it means that the receiver output will be a logic high if all transmitters on a terminated bus are disabled (high impedance). This device offer higher driver output slew rate limits allowing transmit speed up to 500Kbps. It has a 1/8 unit load receiver input impedance that allows up to 256 transceivers on the bus.

• Quiescent current is 375µA

• Low power shutdown mode with 0.001µA supply current
