DS1801E-014+

The DS1801E-014+ is a dual logarithmic audio taper potentiometer in 14 pin TSSOP package. This device combines two digitally controlled 65 position potentiometers with a 1 dB increment per step including mute function. The DS1801 operates with automatic software control via a serial 3-wire interface where the wiper settings are written with 8bit words. DS1801 enables flexible design possibilities by daisy-chaining the devices with a single-processor control and provides high performance audio volume and tone control in most applications where mechanical potentiometers are used. Typical applications include CD players, guitar amplifiers and sound boards.

• Zero-crossing detection to eliminate noise
• End to end resistance is 45Kohm at ±20% tolerance and temperature coefficient is 750ppm/°C
