The SLCD-61N8 is a Silicon Solderable Planar Photodiode features linear short circuit current over a wide range of illumination. This device is widely used for light sensing and power generation because of their stability and high efficiency. This is particularly suited to power conversion applications due to their low internal impedance and relatively high shunt impedances and stability. This device also provides a reliable and inexpensive detector. In the multi-element arrays the cathodes are common to all elements.
