5414 3/4 X 36 YD

The 5414 3/4" X 36 YD from 3M is a transparent water soluble wave solder tape. It has a poly-vinyl alcohol (PVA) backing which is water soluble and a synthetic water soluble adhesive to mask gold fingers on printed circuit boards during wave soldering. It is designed for use in masking gold finger areas on printed circuit boards during the wave soldering and then will dissolve completely away during typical in-line aqueous cleaning processes.
