Product Overview

The 954 is a debug/console cable for Raspberry Pi. This USB to TTL serial cable is an easiest way to connect to microcontroller/Raspberry Pi/Wi-Fi router serial console port. Inside big USB plug is a USB to serial conversion chip and at the end of 36inch cable are four wire like red power, black ground, white RX into USB port and green TX out of USB port. The power pin provides 5V at 500mA direct from USB port and RX/TX pins are 3.3V level for interfacing with most common 3.3V logic level chipsets. It has separated pin plugs which make this cable as an ideal device for powering and connecting up to debug/login console on Raspberry Pi or BeagleBone Black.

Communications & Networking

This cable is not good for Arduino reprogramming such as Boarduino, MENTA and Monochron because it does not have the DTR/RTS wire necessary for initiating the bootloader reboot sequence.
