C1608X7R1H104K080AE is a soft termination C series commercial grade multilayer ceramic chip capacitor. It is a product incorporating a conductive resin layer into the terminal electrodes. The resin layer protects the ceramic body from cracks by relieving stress caused by thermal shock and board flexure. Typical applications include fail-safe design in power line, prevention of ceramic body cracks by board bending, prevention of solder cracks by thermal shock and equipment such as mobile devices having a high possibility of drop.
