The AC series Solid State Relay from the rugged 120/240/380V to the small footprint MP series. It is designed for mounting on printed circuit boards. It features 4000V of optical isolation and most are UL and CSA recognized. The innovative use of room-temperature liquid epoxy encapsulation, coupled with Opto 22s unique heat-spreader technology. The solid state relay is subjected to full load test and six times the rated current surge both before and after encapsulation. It offers the ultimate in solid state reliability. This relay features a built-in snubber as well as zero-voltage turn-on and zero-current turn-off. Transient-proof models offer self protection for noisy electrical environments.
