12857 is a 4" American pattern, square double cut smooth file. It features a square design with teeth all the way around. This file can be used on slots, keyways, or just for general surface filing. The double-cut construction allows for faster material removal from the workpiece. The slight taper in width towards the file's point creates ease of access in slots. Crafted from metal, the file's construction offers strength and durability.
