The N816-10M is a 33ft aqua duplex OM3 LSZH laser-optimized multimode fiber Patch Cable with a SC connector on one end and LC connector on other end. It is for use with 10Gb Ethernet applications. This new technology 50/125μm fiber optic cable provide nearly four times the bandwidth over conventional 62.5μm multimode fibre with performance rivalling that of single mode cable. The LOMMF cable allow 10Gb serial transmission over extended distances in the 850nm wavelength window, where vertical cavity surface emitting lasers (VCSELs) enable a high-bandwidth solution. It is ideally suited for LAN's, SAN's and high-speed parallel interconnects for head-ends, central offices and data centres. The OM3 can support 40GBASE-SR4/100GBASE-SR10 in applicable parallel optics networks.
