Product Overview
The 5524 is a MAX-LOC® NEMA 3R straight male strain-relief Cord-sealing Grip for use with 1/2-inch NPT MAX-LOC® lock nut (130099-0143), MAX-LOC® O-ring, 1/2-inch NPT (130180-0314) and 1/2-inch NPT MAX-LOC® gasket (130099-0149). It is made of nylon. The Woodhead® heavy-duty cord grip provide strain relief for cords on plugs, connectors, pushbutton stations, enclosures and pendant or hanging boxes used on portable equipment for institutional and industrial applications. The Woodhead® grip reduces cord arc bend, assist in the load support of a hanging box and helps to prevent cord pullout.
