U209-000-R

U209-000-R is a USB-A to RS-232 (DB9) serial adapter cable. This USB-to-serial cable (M/M) connects a 9-pin RS-232 (DB9) serial device to a USB-A port on user's desktop computer or laptop. It connects modems, PDUs, network switches, console servers, and other serial devices at data transfer speeds up to 230 Kbps, which is twice as fast as a built-in serial port. The compact five-foot (1.5-meter) cable fits easily inside a backpack or laptop bag for use almost anywhere. This RS-232 cable requires no external power source and supports remote wake-up and power management. It works with most major operating systems, including Windows 2000 through 11, macOS 10.6 through 12.4 and Linux Redhat 7.3, 8.0 and 9.0.
