Product Overview

PAN2580 module is a long range, low power, 868MHz or 915MHz ISM band transceiver which includes a complete 802.15.4 physical layer (PHY). It is designed for the IEEE 802.15.4 wireless standard. Using an appropriate microcontroller (MCU) with reference oscillator provides a cost effective solution for long range data links and networks. The PAN2580 comes pre-loaded with the Synapse SNAP® mesh network operating system. There is also a version for metering usage, with W-MBus Stack available, refer to PAN7580. This module will comply to CE (868MHz) and FCC / IC (915MHz). A pin and function compatible modem, called PAN4580, is also available for the 2.4GHz.

  • 192k total Flash with 64k used by SNAP core, 64k free for uploadable SNAPPY scripts
  • 1 UART with HW Flow Control for control or transparent data
  • 19 GPIOs and up to 18 A/D inputs with 10 Bit ADC
  • GFSK Modulation when using SNAP®, FSK and OOK is possible
