Product Overview
The 1121-0679-P5 is a 0.04-inch (ID) x 0.09-inch (OD) Endura Precision Conical Desoldering Tip for use in the SX-70 and SX-80 heaters. The inside diameter (ID) of the tip must be large enough to fit over the lead, while providing sufficient room so that air and solder can be drawn through the tip. The outside diameter (OD) of the tip must be slightly smaller than the diameter of the pad to prevent tip contact to the board laminate and minimize the possibility of damage.
