Product Overview

The SPLPL90 from Osram is a radial leaded pulsed laser diode in plastic package. Typical applications of device are hand held laser range finders (LRF) for golfers, hunters, civil engineers, pre crash detection, collision avoidance, adaptive rear lighting), traffic surveillance (Laser speed gun, traffic recording, vehicle classification, distance measurement, fog detection) and professional laser sensors for distance measuring, positioning, protection.

  • Laser wavelength is 905nm
  • Suited for short laser pulses from 1ns to 100ns
  • Laser aperture 200µm x 2µm
  • Forward current of 40A
