Product Overview
The LP2950ACZ-5.0G is a low power, micropower low dropout (LDO) voltage regulator in 3 pin TO-92 package. It is specifically designed to maintain proper regulation with an extremely low input to output voltage differential. This device features a very low quiescent bias current of 75µA and it is capable of supplying output currents in excess of 100mA. Due to low input to output voltage differential and bias current specifications, the device is ideally suited for battery powered applications.

- Initial output voltage tolerance of 0.5%
- Dropout voltage of 350mV at IO = 100mA
- Extremely tight line and load regulation
- Requires only 1µF output capacitor for stability
- Internal current and thermal limiting
- Line regulation (Vin = VO(nom) 1.0V to 30V) of 0.04%
- Load regulation (IO = 100µA to 100mA) of 0.05%
- Output noise voltage (10Hz to 100KHz) of 126µVrms at CL = 1.0µF and 56µVrms at CL = 100µF
- Operating ambient temperature range from -40° to +125°C
