The 15-24-4441 is a 4-circuit 1-row 5.08mm pitch disk drive power connection system right angle header with tin-plated phosphor bronze contacts, PCB locator peg, 3.56mm PC tail and through hole termination. This 8981 PCB header is made of nylon, mates with 15-24-4048 disk drive power connection system female crimp housing, suitable for power and wire-to-board applications. Disk drive power connector, used to carry voltages from the power supply unit to the disk drive board. An attempt was made by a group of ESDI (extended data interface) committee to standardize the power connector in the drive industries. The surface mounted connector offers low profile and space saving features. The housing is made from high temperature which can withstand vapor phase and IR soldering process.
