Product Overview

The 1.5SMC39A from Littelfuse is a 1500W, unidirectional transient voltage suppressor in DO-214AB package. It features excellent clamping capability, fast response time, low profile package, built-in strain relief and low incremental surge resistance. The 1.5SMC series is designed specifically to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient voltage events. TVS devices are ideal for the protection of I/O Interfaces, VCC bus and other vulnerable circuits.
  • Reverse standoff voltage VR is 33.3V
  • Breakdown voltage VBR is 37.1V minimum and 41V maximum at 1mA
  • Maximum reverse leakage is 1µA
  • Maximum clamping voltage VC is 53.9V
  • Maximum peak pulse current is 28.2A
  • Power dissipation on infinite heat sink at TL=50°C is 6.5W
  • Peak forward surge current IFSM is 200A
  • Maximum instantaneous forward voltage is 5V at 100V
  • Operating temperature range from -65°C to +175°C, IEC-61000-4-2 ESD 30KV (air), 30KV (contact)
  • ESD protection of data lines with IEC 61000-4-2 and EFT protection with IEC 61000-4-4 standard
