The 24-7068-6403 is a Solder Wire, 96.5, 3, 0.5 Sn, Ag, Cu alloy content, 21AWG gauge, 0.031-inch external diameter and 217°C melting temperature. This solder wire features excellent solderability to a wide variety of metallization, easy residue removal in DI water and for lead-free assembly. Organic flux is a water soluble formula for use in flux-cored solder wire and is more effective than rosin fluxes in solder difficult metals. The flux is more heat stable than most organic fluxes, resulting in minimal smoke and odor. The residue can be completely removed with a simple water rinse.
