Product Overview

The TWR-MCF51MM-KIT is a medical development tower system kit for MCF51MM256 Flexis ColdFire 32bit microcontroller. The MCF51MM256 provides ultra low power operation, USB connectivity, graphic display support and unparalleled measurement accuracy, all in a single 32bit microcontroller (MCU), allowing designers to create more fully featured products at a lower cost. The TWR-MCF51MM operates as a standalone debug tool and can also be combined and used as part of the modular tower system development platform. The module can be powered by the open source BDM (OSBDM) circuit via the mini B USB connector when standalone. An onboard, MC9S08JM60 based OSBDM circuit provides a debug interface to the MCF51MM256. The TWR-MCF51MM features two expansion card edge connectors that interface to elevator boards in a tower system, primary and secondary elevator connectors.

The TWR-MCF51MM-KIT is a development kit for TWR-MCF51MM module. The TWR-MCF51MM-KIT features the 32bit MCF51MM256 Flexis ColdFire. TWR-MCF51MM-KIT includes TWR-MCF51MM, TWR-SER, TWR-ELEV and MED-EKG. TWR-MCF51MM is a low-cost evaluation, demonstration and development board that features a 32bit MCF51MM256 microcontroller. The Flexis MM family provides ultra-low-power operation, USB connectivity, graphic display solutions and richly integrated Analogue peripherals. The TWR-MCF51MM can operate stand-alone or as the main control board in a tower system with peripheral modules. It is designed to aid in the evaluation and prototyping of medical applications and includes an electrocardiograph sensor (MED-EKG) as part of the evaluation system. The TWR-MCF51MM operates as a stand-alone debug tool and can also can be combined and used as part of the modular tower system development platform.
