Product Overview

The HCPL-3150-500E is a 0.5A output current IGBT Gate Drive Optocoupler consists of an LED optically coupled to an integrated circuit with a power output stage. This optocoupler is ideally suited for driving power IGBTs and MOSFETs used in motor control inverter applications. The high operating voltage range of the output stage provides the drive voltages required by gate controlled devices. The voltage and current supplied by this optocoupler makes it ideally suited for directly driving IGBTs with ratings up to 1200V/50A.
  • Under-voltage lock-out protection (UVLO) with hysteresis
  • 0.5µs Maximum propagation delay
  • -40 to 100°C Industrial operating temperature range
