SMBJ5.0A-E3/5B is a surface-mount TRANSZORB® transient voltage suppressor. Typical applications include use in sensitive electronics protection against voltage transients induced by inductive load switching and lighting on ICs, MOSFET, and signal lines of sensor units for consumer, computer, industrial, and telecommunication.
- Low profile package, ideal for automated placement
- Glass passivated chip junction
- 600W peak pulse power capability with a 10/1000μs waveform, repetitive rate (duty cycle): 0.01%
- Excellent clamping capability, very fast response time, low incremental surge resistance
- Breakdown N voltage range from 6.40 to 7.07V (TA = 25°C, at IT), 10mA test current (TA = 25°C)
- 5.0V stand off voltage (TA = 25°C), 800μA maximum reverse leakage at VWM ID (TA = 25°C)
- 65.2A max peak pulse surge current (TA = 25°C), 9.2V maximum clamping voltage at IPPM (TA = 25°C)
- 0.057%/°C maximum temperature coefficient of VBR (TA = 25°C)
