Product Overview
The SN65HVD34DR is a 3-state differential Line Driver and Differential-input Line Receiver for use with DTE and DCE interfaces. Each driver and receiver has separate input and output pins for full-duplex bus communication designs. It is designed for RS-422 and RS-485 data transmission over cable lengths of up to 1500m. It has active-high driver enables and active-low receiver enables.

- Bus idle, open and short-circuit failsafe
- Driver current limiting and thermal shutdown
- Bus-pin ESD protection exceeds 15kV HBM
- <lt/>1µA Low-current standby mode
