Product Overview
The S01-04-R is a blue SolderSleeve™ Shield Terminator with transparent, heat-shrinkable insulation sleeve constructed of radiation cross-linked polyvinylidene fluoride. This S01-series terminator without ground lead meets the performance requirements of SAE-AS83519 (MIL-S-83519/1). It has a colored thermo chromic temperature indicator that exhibits a distinct color change when surfaces have reached wetting temperature. This color change gives both manufacturing and quality control an aid in the inspection of the completed termination. Transparent insulation sleeve provides encapsulation, inspectability, strain relief and insulation. Designed to make an environment-resistant shield wire-to-wire termination on cable.
