Product Overview
The D-1744-02 is a 2.8mm transparent blue SolderSleeve Butt Wire Splice with heat shrink radiation-cross-linked polyvinylidene fluoride insulation sleeve, thermally stabilized thermoplastic gray meltable rings, open barrel and Sn63 solder termination. This splice is designed to provide an environment resistant in-line splice in wires having tin or silver-plated conductors and insulation rated for at least 125°C.

TE Quality Alert (26-004): Supplier found its RA2 flux was misclassified as ROL1 since 2020. Independent testing confirmed it is ROM1. Products using RA2 flux don’t meet ROL1 requirements but remain compliant where ROM1 is acceptable.
