TLV431AFTA is a three-terminal, adjustable shunt regulator offering excellent temperature stability and output current handling capability up to 20mA. The output voltage may be set to any chosen voltage between 1.24V and 18V by selection of two external divider resistors. It can be used as a replacement for Zener diodes in many applications requiring an improvement in Zener performance.
- Low-voltage operation VREF = 1.24V
- Minimum cathode current for regulation is 80µA maximum at (TA = -40°C to +85°C)
- 0.25 ohm typical output impedance at (VKA = VREF, f = less than 1kHz IK = 0.1mA to 15mA)
- Adjustable output voltage VREF to 18V
- Off state current is 0.1µA maximum at (VKA = 18V, VREF = 0V)
- Reference voltage tolerance is 1%
- Reference input current is 0.5µA maximum at (R1 = 10Kohm, R2 = OC)
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to +125°C
- 3 pin SOT23 package
