The EB3C-R10AN is a Discrete Input Barrier with 10-input channel and relay output. Intrinsically safe relay barrier is essential component of intrinsically safe applications. These devices limit current, voltage and total energy delivered to a sensor or any other actuator instrument located in a hazardous area. When used in areas with hazardous chemicals, gases or other ignitable atmospheres, limiting the energy is required to prevent any possible fires & explosions from occurring. Dry contact switches can be connected to the EB3C. Illuminated switches also can be connected with the combination of the EB3S Relay and the EB3L lamp barriers.
- Hazardous location
- Zone 0/Class 1 division 1 locations IEC60079 compliant
- Dry-contact switches with 0.5Ω maximum contact resistance can be connected to the EB3C
- Universal AC power voltage (100 to 240VAC)
- No grounding required
- IDEC's original spring-up terminals minimizes wiring time
- Installation, 35mm wide DIN rail mounting or direct panel mounting
