MC7818ACTG

The MC7818ACTG is a positive linear voltage regulator in 3 pin TO-220 package. This voltage regulator is a monolithic integrated circuit designed as fixed voltage regulator for a wide variety of applications including local, on-card regulation. It employs internal current limiting, thermal shutdown and output transistor safe area compensation. The regulator can deliver output current in excess of 1A with adequate heatsinking. Although designed primarily as a fixed voltage regulator, this device can be used with external components to obtain adjustable voltages and currents.
