Product Overview
The NCP1423EVB is an evaluation board for NCP1423 monolithic micropower high frequency step up switching converter. The NCP1423 is specially designed for battery operated hand held electronic products and it integrates synchronous rectifier for improving efficiency as well as eliminating the external schottky diode. High switching frequency (up to 600KHz) allows a low profile inductor and output capacitor to be used. Ring killer is also integrated to eliminate the high frequency ringing in discontinuous conduction mode.
