Product Overview
P4080DS-PC is a QorIQ P4080 development system (rev3.0 silicon). The P4080DS is a flexible development system supporting the NXP® P4080, P4040 and P4081 processors. The board, with its rich I/O mix, is intended for initial target development and evaluation of P4080 and P4040 processors. The board, which exercises many capabilities of the device, can serve as a reference for hardware development and can also be used as a debug tool to check behaviors on the board compared to behaviors seen on customer boards.
- Core complex: P4080, 1.5 GHz core with 1333MHz DDR3 data rate
- Networking elements: 10GbE supported with optional XAUIRISER card
- Accelerators and memory control: 128MB NOR (fast boot), SPI-based 16MB EEPROM and SD media card slot
- 18 lanes, dividable into many combinations
- Five add-in slots to selectably connect to five of the 16 controllers supported by the P4080
- Supports PCI Express®, SGMII, Nexus/Aurora debug, XAUI and Serial RapidIO®
- PromJet debug port and temperature sensor
- Linux® SDK for QorIQ® processors software
