06706NN is an 8" rectangular double/single cut axe file (carded). The Crescent rectangular axe file has a double-cut side for faster material removal and a single-cut side for putting a fine edge on the user axe. A dull tool makes work much more difficult, so use a file to sharpen user axes and other garden tools. The rectangular shape of this file has a large surface area to file down troublesome ridges and burrs on axe blades. This file has two safe edges to work easily in restricted confines without damage.
