Product Overview
UTC-USB is a universal thermocouple connector with USB connection. It accepts the signal from any of 8 thermocouple types and displays the actual temperature readings on your PC, through a standard USB port. It provides automatic cold junction compensation and linearization. The free downloadable software lets users to select the thermocouple type and units, and then uses your PC as a meter, chart recorder or data logger. It features OMEGA’s universal input connection so user can quickly attach both standard and miniature size thermocouple connectors. A standard USB cable is included for fast hook-up to your PC.
- Thermocouple inputs are : J, K, T, E, R, S, B, C or N
- Built-in cold junction compensation and linearization
- Operating temperature is -10°C to +70°C
- Measurement accuracy for J, K type is ±0.5% of reading or ±1.0°C, whichever is greater
- Measurement accuracy for T, E, N type is ±0.5% of reading or ±2.0°C, whichever is greater
- Measurement accuracy for R, S, B, C type is ±0.5% full scale
- Measurement resolution is 1°C
- Enclosure material is plastic glass filled nylon
- Dimension is 3inch x 1inch x 0.5inch (L x W x H)
