Product Overview
The AT89C4051-12PU is a low-voltage, high-performance 8-bit CMOS Microcontroller with 4kB of flash programmable and erasable read-only memory (PEROM). The device uses high-density non-volatile memory technology and is compatible with the industry-standard MCS-51 instruction set. This versatile 8-bit CPU with flash provides a highly-flexible solution for many embedded control applications. The microcontroller features 128byte of RAM, 15 I/O lines, two 16-bit timers/counters, a five-vector, two-level interrupt architecture, a full duplex serial port, a precision analogue comparator, on-chip oscillator and clock circuitry. It is designed with static logic for operation down to zero frequency and supports two software-selectable power saving modes. The idle mode stops the CPU while allowing the RAM, timer/counters, serial port and interrupt system to continue functioning.
