Product Overview
KMI/1X500 (IEC) is an IEC mineral insulated Type K thermocouple with threaded pot and tails. 310 stainless steel provides good corrosion & and oxidation resistance to suit a wide range of processes, satisfactorily operates in sulphur bearing atmospheres. Typical applications include brick and cement kilns, glass industry, heat treatment and annealing furnaces, power stations, flues, heat exchangers etc.
- 1mm probe diameter, 500mm length
- Mineral insulated probe with stainless steel with M8 x 1.0mm pitch threaded pot seal & tails
- Highly flexible, sheath can be bent/formed to suit many applications and processes
- Insulated hot junction, probe temperature range from -40°C to +750°C
- M8 x 1.0mm fine pitch threaded pot seal (200°C)
- Termination is 100mm PFA twin twisted 7/0.2mm tails, color coded in accordance with IEC 584
- Sensor type is Type ‘K’ (nickel chromium/nickel aluminum) to IEC 584
- Single element, junction insulated from sheath (offer protection against spurious electrical signal)
