Product Overview
FOT-CLV1 is a fiber optic 1-step precision cleaver. This is a high precision cleaver that uses an efficient 1 step process to cleave 125um single fibbers with coatings between 250 and 900um in preparation for fusion or mechanical splicing. The FOT-CLV1 has a measurable cleave length from 5-20mm and an angle of 90°. The FOT-CLV1 comes with an attached fiber disposal bin and a blade good for up to 48,000 cleaves before needing to be replaced. The FOT-CLV1 is compact, durable, and precise, which makes it perfect for all cleaving applications. Application includes fusion splicing mechanical splicing, splice on connectors.
