TLE5041PLUSCAAMA1 is an iGMR based wheel speed sensor. It is designed for sophisticated vehicle control systems. The rotational speed is sensed accurately, enabling the sensor to be used as a component of indirect tire pressure monitoring systems. It is based on integrated giant magneto resistive (GMR) elements sensitive to the direction of a magnetic field. Excellent repeatability and sensitivity is specified over a wide temperature range. To meet harsh automotive requirements, robustness to electrostatic discharge (ESD) and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) has been maximized. State-of-the-art BiCMOS technology is used for monolithic integration of sensing elements and signal conditioning circuitry, thus requiring no external components.
