30-496 is a Telemaster™ modular plug crimper. It is a multi-purpose modular plug crimping tool with a built in cutter and jacket stripper designed to attach RJ-45 (8 position) and RJ-11/12 (6 position) connectors to CAT5e, CAT6 or voice grade cables.
- Crimps industry standard CAT5e/6 RJ-45 (8P8C) and RJ-11/12 (6P6C/6P4C) modular plugs
- Precision ground contact dies evenly crimp standard plugs to industry specifications
- Lighter and more compact version of the 30-696 Ratchet Telemaster™
- Multi-function tool also cuts UTP/STP and strips CAT5e/6 round cable jackets
- No calibration required, can crimp most standard Shielded CAT5e/6 modular plugs
- Black oxide coated steel frame inhibits rust
- Dual textured contoured handle grips for comfort
- Locking latch, protective guard helps prevent finger and blade damage
- Replaceable cutting and stripping blades
- Spring loaded handles
