Product Overview
The R500 is a C programmable robotic caterpillar kit. This is an unassembled kit which is suitable for school or hobby projects. The caterpillar is controlled by a powerful ATMEGA16 microcontroller and the robot is programmable via open source tools in C.
- Moves like a caterpillar on the floor
- Retreats when objects touch the antenna sensor
- Rights itself using the tilt sensor when the caterpillar falls over
- Antenna LEDs change colour when making contact with objects
- 8 degrees of freedom
- IR receiver allows for control with a universal remote
- Transparent body is fitted with LEDs and looks great in the dark
- I2C bus expandable
