FLUKE-AF2082 is an A-frame. It is a specialized accessory designed to help technicians quickly locate faults in underground cables. When used with compatible Fluke underground utility locator systems, the AF2082 enables precise fault detection by measuring voltage gradients in the ground, helping crews pinpoint damaged cables faster and with greater accuracy. Underground cable faults can lead to costly downtime, service disruptions, and extensive excavation if the fault location is uncertain. The AF2082 simplifies this process by guiding operators directly to the fault point. By inserting the A-Frame probes into the ground and following the measured signal gradient, technicians can determine the exact location of insulation breakdowns or cable damage—reducing guesswork and minimizing unnecessary digging.
