The SS-60300-004 is a CAT-6A 8P8C/RJ45 right angle shielded Modular Jack with 50μinch gold-plated copper alloy contacts, nickel/tin-plated shield and UL94V-0 flame-rated thermoplastic housing. The CAT-6A jack is designed for use in CAT6a patch panels and wall outlets in premise wiring systems. Engineered to meet the 500MHz requirements of the CAT-6a specifications, this jack provides a higher level of compensation to reach defined performance levels. Bel Stewart's patent-pending design utilizes a flexible circuit board placed in close proximity to the modular jack interface which provides capacitive compensation. Having the compensation close to the plug/jack interface helps to cancel the NEXT introduced to the jack from the modular plug. This makes further compensation to CAT-6a on the main PCB much easier. The Bel Stewart design incorporating the flex circuit board still enables our jacks to maintain standard modular connector contact designs insuring mechanical reliability.
