HGL36070

The HGL36070 is a 3-pole PowerPact® H-frame unit-mount thermal-magnetic current limiting Circuit Breaker with factory sealed trip unit. It is designed to protect electrical systems from damage caused by overloads and short circuits. It is designed to open and close a circuit by non-automatic means and to open the circuit automatically on a predetermined over-current. It features common mounting holes, handle locations and trim dimensions. It is suitable for reverse connection. It is equipped with dual-break rotating contacts that reduce the amount of peak current during a short-circuit fault. This reduces the let-through currents and enhances equipment protection. The H-frame circuit breaker has an over-centre toggle mechanism providing quick-make, quick-break operation. The operating mechanism is also trip-free, which allows tripping even when the circuit breaker handle is held in the ON position.
