18419 is a self locking tweezer with straight narrow tips. This long, straight stainless steel cross-lock tweezer is an excellent soldering tool that will see everyday use. The tips remain closed, holding your piece, until you squeeze them open, reducing hand fatigue and ensuring a more securely held work piece. Stainless steel gives a reasonable tool life and good value; it will not contaminate soldering operations and is an excellent heat sink. These tweezers quickly and easily clamp into a third-hand base to hold your piece while leaving your hands free for delicate soldering operation.
