Product Overview
MAX14930FAWE+ is a digital isolator. The independent 1.71V to 5.5V supplies are on each side of the isolator also makes the device suitable for use as a level translator. Safety regulatory approvals include UL according to UL1577, cUL according to CSA bulletin 5A, and VDE 0884-11 basic insulation. Applications include fieldbus communications for industrial automation, isolated SPI, RS-232, RS-485/RS-422, general multichannel isolation applications, battery management, and medical systems.
- Robust galvanic isolation of digital signals, withstands ±10kV surge per IEC 61000-4-5
- Interfaces directly with most micros and FPGAs, accepts 1.71V to 5.5V supplies
- 4/0 channel configuration, 150Mbps data rate
- Default low output, 2.75kVRMS isolation voltage
- Input leakage current is +1µA max at VINA = 0 or VDDA, VINB = 0 or VDDB
- Common-mode transient immunity is 25kV/µs typ at IN = GND or VDD
- Pulse-width distortion is 0.4ns typ at 4.5V ≤ VDDA, VDDB ≤ 5.5V
- Minimum pulse width is 1µs max at INA to OUTB, INB to OUTA
- 16 wide SOIC package
- Temperature range from -40°C to +125°C
