LT3020IDD#PBF

LT®3020 is a very low dropout voltage (VLDO™) linear regulator that operates from input supplies down to 0.9V. This is ideal for low input voltage to low output voltage applications, providing comparable electrical efficiency to that of a switching regulator. This regulator optimizes stability and transient response with low ESR, ceramic output capacitors as small as 2.2µF. Other features include 0% typical line regulation and 0.2% typical load regulation. Typical applications are low current regulators, battery-powered systems, cellular phones, pagers, wireless modems.

• Stable with low ESR, ceramic output capacitors (2.2µF minimum)
• Current limit protection, reverse-battery protection, no reverse current
• Thermal limiting with hysteresis
• Minimum input voltage is 1.05V max (at ILOAD=100mA, TJ <gt/> 0°C)
• ADJ pin voltage range from 196 to 204mV (VIN=1.5V, ILOAD=1mA)
• Dropout voltage is 115mV max (ILOAD=10mA)
• Output voltage noise is 245µVRMS typ (COUT=2.2µF, ILOAD=100mA, BW=10Hz to 100KHz, VOUT=1.2V)
• ADJ pin bias current is 50nA max (VADJ=0.2V, RIPPLE=1.2V)
• 8-lead plastic DFN package
• Operating junction temperature range from -40°C to 125°C
